Marlin Industries primarily manufacture new timber cable drums (from 600mm to 3200mm Flange Diameter) and plywood reels for the packaging and dispatch of wire and cable products. We operate the UK’s largest ISO 9001 accredited Timber Drum Repair Facility providing refurbished drums at highly competitive prices. We also offer Drum Management services which include: De-stuffing & Devanning of customer owned product from containers and curtainsider vehicles, External Storage, Warehousing (Dry Storage of drums, pallets and passive goods), RH & D(Receipt, Handling and Dispatch – Inbound & Outbound), Picking & Packing (single and multi-item batch picking), Cutting, Winding, Batching and Coiling of cable, fibre and ducted product, Re-packing and Labelling, Tracking and Traceability, Specialised delivery and collection (including within a max 48-hour period of receiving an order, timed deliveries, next day, just in time, specialist vehicles i.e. Urban & Rigid, 3PL support), FLT delivery direct to end customer sites (including Tail lift & 2 ton and 3 ton moffett provision). In addition we can provide cost effective disassembly of drums to transport in kit form back to the country of origin or UK site for reuse, electrical component assembly and ISPM15 Heat Treatment and we are an Accredited Packaging (Wood & Plastic) Waste Reprocessor providing closed loop recycling solutions.
