Marlin Industries can manage your customer drum collection service with our dedicated administration team to free your resources.

Collections are normally targeted for completion in less than 10 working days, utilising internally developed computer systems. Empty drums are quickly returned for reuse, minimising the size of the customers operating drum stock and reducing new drum purchases and associated costs.

We have the ability to repair and refurbish cable drums to enable reuse, and if the drums are no longer of use or are deemed unfit for purpose we dispose of the drums ethically.

We offer two different cable drum collection services: Reactive and Proactive.
With an extensive haulage fleet providing national coverage and comprehensive diarised calling system and reporting suite including over 23,000 individual collection addresses complete with contact details, access restrictions and site loading facilities.

REACTIVE

Marlin Industries will manage your customer drum collection service.

Collection requests can be forwarded to us for our action; alternatively, we can operate your telephone lines, dealing directly with your customers, distributors & receiving collection requests via phone, fax or e-mail.

This frees your management resources and keeps communication chain as short as possible.

PRO-ACTIVE

Marlin Industries can regular contact your high-volume drum users, end customers, distributors and wholesalers.

This ensures that empty drums are collected as soon as they are available and the drum stocks required to run your business are reduced along with the opportunity for drums to be damaged or lost from the drum pool.

REPORTING

Provision of data on return of drums from the cable and wire companies’ customers.

Collection of steel drum from end users
Ability to break drums down into manageable sizes to enable recycling and scrap recovery value provided back to end user minus transportation costs.

Cable & Product distribution
Utilisation of own specialised fleet including self-discharge with rear mounted Moffetts.
