Marlin Industries operates a large mixed fleet consisting of articulated, urban and rigid vehicles all of which can be supplied with Moffett rear mounted fork lift truck’s (2 ton and 3 ton carrying capacity available) so our drivers can self-load or unload your products to prevent any unnecessary contact and maintain social distancing as per Government guidelines. Should delivering heavier product be required we have a large qualified subcontract transport base providing additional vehicles with Hiab’s Cranes and Flats.
In terms of technology our main operating system is the Mandata vehicle planning tool. Mandata give us full visibility in terms of vehicle tracking, live collection and delivery status data, auto e-mails are generated once collected or delivered. In addition, our EPoD’s can have the collection recipient’s name documented without having to handle any paperwork or sign the electronic device. Any relevant paperwork can also be photographed by our drivers as proof of collection if necessary. EPOD’s can also be e-mailed as soon as collection or delivery occurs.
All vehicles are fitted with CCTV to assist with any operational matters.
With all of the measures in place we can support you and your customers distribution requirements whilst adhering and respecting social distancing instructions and maintaining the safety of both your staff and our own in these trying times.
STORAGE
At Marlin Industries we are able to offer secure internal and external storage for our customers products.
Our sites have the facility to store mother drums, cut cable down to length, supply smaller dispatch drums either refurbished or new and then on-deliver to end customers. We also have packaging operations.
